The use of large-scale CNC machining equipment for processing has high efficiency and good quality, but if the process design is not handled properly, it can directly affect production and even affect quality and other issues.
1. The CNC machining process is too scattered
The reason for this problem lies in the fear of complexity (referring to preparation time), simple programming, simplified operation and processing, easy adjustment of tool alignment when using a single tool for processing, and being accustomed to regular processing. This makes it difficult to ensure product quality (positional tolerance) and production efficiency cannot be effectively utilized.
Therefore, CNC machining technicians and operators should be fully familiar with CNC machining knowledge, make more attempts to master relevant knowledge, and try to use centralized processing methods as much as possible. Using it multiple times will naturally reflect its advantages. After adopting process concentration, the processing time per unit increased. We arranged two devices face-to-face, achieving one person operating two devices, greatly improving efficiency and ensuring quality.
2. CNC machining sequence is unreasonable
Some CNC machining operators often arrange the machining sequence extremely unreasonably due to preparation issues. Numerical control machining is usually carried out according to the requirements of general mechanical processing technology, such as starting from coarse to fine (tool change), starting from inside to outside, and selecting cutting parameters reasonably, in order to improve quality and efficiency.
Be cautious when using G00 (G26, G27, G29) to quickly locate the instruction G00, which brings great convenience to programming and usage. But if set and used improperly, it often leads to adverse consequences such as overshoot when returning to zero, decreased accuracy, and damage to the equipment guide rail surface due to excessive speed setting. Neglecting the return to zero route can easily lead to safety accidents involving collision with workpieces and equipment. Therefore, when considering the use of G00 instructions, one should consider everything carefully and not be arbitrary.
In CNC machining, particular attention should be paid to strengthening program retrieval and trial operation. After inputting the program into the control system, the operator should use the SCH key and the ↑, ↓, ←, → movement keys for uncertainty and certainty retrieval, and modify the program if necessary to ensure its accuracy. At the same time, before officially executing the program processing, it is necessary to conduct a program trial run (open the amplifier) to confirm whether the processing route is consistent with the design route.
